All about Rabbits

All about Rabbits
A female Rabbit is called a doe. And a male Rabbit is called a buck. A young Rabbit is called a kit ( kitten).Rabbits are herbivores. This means that they have a plant-based diet and do not eat meat.Rabbits live in groups.

Rabbits are small mammals with fluffy, short tails, whiskers and distinctive long ears. There are more than 30 species around the world. More than half of the world's rabbits live in North America. Rabbits have long ears which can be as long as 10 cm (4 in).Happy rabbits practice a cute behaviour. They jump up in the air and twist and spin around!
Rabbit habitats include meadows, woods, forests, grasslands, deserts and wetlands. Rabbits live in groups, and the best known species, the European rabbit, lives in burrows, or rabbit holes.

  2. Well done Kezia. I had no idea baby rabbits were known as Kittens! I would have thought they'd be called 'little fluffy boo-boos'

  4. Tino pai Kezia! This is a beautiful presentation about rabbits and I really like that you have split up the text between the cute pictures. I learnt something new as well! I didn't know that male and female rabbits were called different names. What kind of plant based food do your rabbits enjoy the most?

I didn't know that a young rabbit is called a kit (kitten) - I wonder who thought of calling them that? I agree with NJ, great idea to break up the text with photos.
