On Monday I made a lemon tart with meringue on top. I made it with my Au-Pair Cecilia. First Cecilia made the base of the lemon tart. Cecilia said that it is time to make the the lemon tart now so I (Kezia) got up and started to make the tart. I put some water in a bowl, and added some cornflour. Cornflour makes the mixture thicken. I also added eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest and butter. The meringue was mainly made out of egg white and sugar.
It didn't take as long to cook as the recipe said. The taste was 10 of out 10! My favourite part was the lemon tart, but I also liked the rest of it too. The lemon tart was 10 out of 10.
YUM!!! That looks really tasty Kezia. I really like the photos that you have added. Is this for the bake/cook off? If so you should give yourself a rating out of 10 on how well you think you went in the kitchen. Keep up the great blogging!

DeleteYummm, my favourite! Your lemon meringue tart looks delectable, Kezia, no wonder you gave it a 10 out of 10. My favourite part is always the lemon part of the tart too. Why do you think that it didn't take as long to cook as the recipe says? Have you been baking anything else?
ReplyDeleteWow, this is spectacular! Mouth watering! Well done.

DeleteWhat a coincidence... we watched a cooking show with teams making these pies recently. They had a lot of trouble and got very stressed. But it seems effortless for you and Cecilia. Their finished deserts did not look as appetising as yours either!
